In case you haven’t been following our Twelve by Twelve Project, every month a group of 12 photographers post about a specific topic related to our field of expertise. The topic this month is our “Happy Place.” I happened to choose this months topic and think its perfect for most everyone’s month of Family and Celebration.

This month I am no different and will be sharing my family time with my husband on our Anniversary trip in Indonesia. We had an amazing time. As many know, traveling is one of our favorite things to do together and have shared in traveling together since we were dating.

I’m usually always in hand with a camera, this time I took only a small camera so that I could focus on my time with my hubby and enjoy being in the moment. With that said, these images are from my iPhone.

We had an amazing time in Bali. The Balinese are such an extremely nice and hospitable culture. The countryside was lush and green. Breath-taking is one of the many words that come to mind. We are excited to return at some point for a more adventurous trip in the future!

You went through the trouble of picking out your outfit, coordinating the colors, and picking out the best Westchase photographer to capture your families personality now its time for you to pick out the photos that you’d like to print.

Lets talk about how to choose the proper size of photo to purchase for your walls at home. Look at the wall space that you’d like to hang your photos on. Chances are its a pretty big space to fill. An 8 x 10 printed photo is not going to fill that space so we need to think bigger. An 8 x 10 doesn’t give enough attention to the photos that you paid for and had taken by a professional photographer. An 8 x 10 is for a small frame on your desk at work or on your bedside table, not the best for displaying your newborn’s images when he/she was 5 days new. So lets think bigger. I always tell my clients they should order one print or canvas that is at least 20 x 30 from their session.

Below you’ll find three images of a Wall Display I did. Each display has the same three pictures but each display shows different sizing. I show these images to my clients to let them see how different the print sizing is and how beautiful larger sizing can be.
