    I took many Winter family photos during the months of November and December here in South Tampa. This particular family photography session was around Curtis Hixon Park in Downtown Tampa, Florida.

    I have had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family for over 5 years now. I photographed both Aiden’s and Emma’s as newborns. This image directly above is one of my favorites for families because it takes the pressure off the kids to say cheese. They can just giggle and truly have fun. And of course, even though I photograph families as a whole, I always want to get a few snapshots of your kids as they grow so they’re always included in your family photo session when you book with me.

    I first met Mom & Dad at their maternity photography session in Tampa on the beach. Ms. Anika was due around end of December but she decided to show up a little earlier than expected on December 20th. She was born in the hospital at 11:04 am.

    Ms. Anika Dandu was already featured on my blog with her neutral colored newborn session. However, she had many colorful images as well in her session.

    If you’re thinking of having a professional photographer capture your newborn, contact me before your newborn is born. It always allows more time to get you on the calendar and ensure a special session for you.

    Miss Anika was probably one of the sleepiest newborns I have had in my Tampa Photography newborn studio. She slept for a majority of our newborn photos at just a few days old. Born at 5 lbs 8 oz , she was one of the smallest newborns I had the honor of snuggling during her newborn photo session.


    I was asked to put Anika surrounded in pinks, peaches and neutral colors to compliment her nursery in South Tampa.


    The variety of props, blankets and furs we can use during your newborns first photo session is endless. There are so many possibilities. That head of hair mixed with the gorgeous headbands from Emmy Blue Handmade, paired with all the props created a beautiful image.

    I always suggest choosing our full newborn session because parents will definitely want to be in the special memories of these images. Even grandma jumped in for a generational newborn image. It’s always my pleasure to be apart of a special photography session.

    I’ve been photographing this special family for years. It’s been wonderful seeing little Avalee growing so big. This past year I’ve photographed Avalee through her Watch Me Grow- First Year milestones. She’s a riot, so much fun. This time around we updated her family photos at the beach in Tarpon Springs and included Mom & Dad.

    We were back at the same beach where we started for Heather’s maternity portrait session. Of course, right before sunset there is always a beautiful glow on the beach, which was the perfect somber time for Avalee to settle in for some beautiful portraits of her family.

We can always find time to add in your child’s favorite items. Its great to have the memory documented of what meant most to them at this age.

  • Six month Milestone images Westchase Photographer

    Caprice was just in for her six month milestone session. It’s crazy how fast time flies when you’re having fun…and when you have a newborn baby girl. This Westchase photographer sure is happy to spend her time with this little girl. All giggles and mostly smiles, she gave us a fun little session. Looking forward to her 9 month milestone!
