I am so behind on blogging. I have so much to tell you about too! One of my biggest TO DO’s on my list this year- is take more photos of my family and friends- MY LIFE. My family consisting of my hubby, Chris and my two dogs, Bella and Kirra. I don’t have “kids” per say but I certainly feel like I do sometimes. The photos and blogs won’t be just us, it’ll be my extended family as well as our close friends too. Now, our close friends, they have plen-ty of kids! You’ll be seeing loads more of our lives. I feel like I know so much about all of you so its only fair you get to know me as well and maybe put some faces behind the stories I tell you. So here goes nothing..or something. Connor Patrick came into the studio 12 days new with Mommy and Daddy. Born November 12th weighing 6 lbs 2 ounces. Daddy and Mommy are first time parents! Although you’d never know by looking at them. Their love for this little one emanated from them the entire time they were there. It was so obvious that little Connor felt so comfortable and happy, he just slept through the entire session! We may have gotten a little lucky with that one but thats perfectly okay, I’m definitely giving Mommy and Daddy credit!!

I’ve seen these two grow from infancy and I still can’t believe how big they’ve gotten! My love for this session grows every time I laid eyes on a new picture. We met up at the Upper Tampa Bay Park in Tampa. With my tee pee in tow and a bunch of pillows and nic nacks, I set up for a couple hours of fun.
Scarlett & Colton were great in front of the camera! I had a great time with them and absolutely fell in love with the session. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

1 Year Old Cake Smash Session with Miss Leila by Ashley Yvonne Photography
I met Miss Leila at my studio for her 1 Year Cake Smash. Her and her mom recently moved back to Florida from Hawaii. I’m so happy to have Miss Leila and her grandparents into my Tampa Bay Studio for her 1 year Cash Smash photo session. I had a great time getting to know this little one. Miss Leila loved the camera but didn’t love the part of getting messy with the cake. It could possibly be because the cake was so beautiful, thanks to Cuppy Cakes by Crystal Brewster! I loved all the hugs and cuddles from this little one, so happy she came in!!

I didn’t watch the Teen Choice Awards but recently stumbled across this video of Chris “Ashton” Kutcher, he revealed his real name in hopes of connecting with the young audience in attendance and those watching. This was such an inspiration to not only young children that aspire to be like him, but ones like me as well.
Our kids have so many influences around them both good and bad. We try everything we can to let them see the good and hope they aspire to be “good” in every way. Most of the time we don’t have control over what they take in but I believe messages like these can help them see that even a famous actor is a real person, who has real problems and who has real emotions. He too once worked at a grocery store and outside in the hot sun. He started from the bottom and worked his way to where he wanted to be.
As for adults, sometimes life can get rough and tough and in the business world alone, you feel like running a Small Business can be such a complicated task. He took a piece of Steve Jobs from a recent movie he was working on and said this, “Everything around us that we call life was made up of people that are no smarter than you,” he said. “And you can build your own things, you can build your own life that other people can live in. So build a life — don’t live one, build one.” Its nice to be reminded of things like this because we can feel like we aren’t as good as other people may be. Hearing something like this is inspiration to keep going and get to where I want to be. I want to build my small business into a successful Tampa Bay Photography Studio.
