    I was thrown an engagement party over the weekend.

    I had an amazing time! First and foremost, thank you to my family and friends for being absolutely so generous with this party. It was breathtaking!

    The photos above are from the dessert table. The SWEETS were…well sweet! The cupcakes were made at the most famous gourmet dessert company ever!– Sams Club 🙂 Yes, Sams Club made these cupcakes. They were so so so so good! We topped them with pink pearl sprinkles and made the lace cut out A’s and C’s with a Cricut Machine (thismachine cut out all the shapes and paper lettering as well). The cake is also from Sams Club. A Bavarian Cream Cake- oh so yummy! Surrounded by Chocolate Covered Strawberries (hand dipped by my mother.)

    The pretzels were hand dipped and sprinkled by my very own fiancé and his mother and father. Cream Puffs were also from Sams Club. We love our Sams Club as you can see.

    Silver mirror and glass vases and flowers were taken from items around our house!

    It was all inexpensive and very easy to make or take from around the house.

  • Save the Dates- Do It Yourself

    I found these cute vintage Save the Date cards from The Wedding Chicks website. I wasn’t going to send out Save the Dates because we don’t have tons of time before our wedding but when I came across this site and these cards. I just had to have them! Another Do It Yourself wedding item!!!

    My fiancé and I couldn’t decide which photo to send out to our friends and family so he had a great idea to pick 5 of our favorite and send them out randomly and use them as sort of “trading cards”. Not sure how much they’ll go for but we’ll see how this works out!! 🙂 haha

    There are a few that we picked!

  • My very own Engagement photos!

    My great and fantastic sister in law and matron of honor, Crystal came downtown with my fiancé and I to take some photographs of us for our Save the Date cards. All I did was guide her along for the type of photo I was looking for and the angle and she just snapped away. I felt so silly being on the other side of the camera, now knowing how all of my amazing clients feel! I just kept moving and smiling and laughing!

    There are just a few of the photos we took! I’ll be posting our Save the Dates, for everyone to take a looksie!!

  • {Stylish Ring Bearer Pillow}

    YAY to this pillow! I truly believe this pillow can be made by me, myself and I! I’m so excited to be inspired by this pillow and cannot wait to see what I can craft myself. My wedding is inspired by lace, and anything white with hints of sapphire blue and grays. I’m just in love with this!

    It can’t be that hard, can it?
