We all know that our moods can rub off on each other. You can wake up and be in the best mood and unfortunately, run into someone that is in a terrible mood and it all of a sudden is affecting you. We are probably all guilty of doing this even if we weren’t aware. It’s understandable that our day to day stresses can affect us. We each have a lot going on and sometimes don’t have the time to ourselves that we need to relax and process our day. What’s nice is that we can control our emotions and help to spread this joy instead of this stress.
Personally, I have a lot in my life that could cause me stress. I am the Owner/Photographer of Ashley Yvonne Photography, a successful Tampa photography studio, as well as the Owner/ Designer of Posh Events of Tampa Bay, a premier Tampa Event Rentals company. I can get weighed down with the pressures of owning two small businesses in Tampa and sometimes it does get to me. In the end, I know I need to set a schedule, stick to that schedule and make time for my wonderful husband, my family and my friends. At the same token, I need time just to myself. Processing your day is important. Processing how you’re going to tackle the rest of the week is also important. 2015 will be a big year for me because I’ve already scheduled my first six months of photography sessions, blogs, social media posts, etc and I plan to stick to that schedule.
However you decide to de-stress, make sure you do this at least once a week and focus on sticking to a schedule. Find new ways to take your mind off things. Read a book, take a bath, sit on your front porch and people watch or go play with your dog. May your 2015 be the best yet!
