  • Max 1 Year {Tampa Bay Children Photographer}

    Max’s birthday was July 4th, one year ago he came to us because of his beautiful mother Elisabeth. I have had the pleasure of working with her and being a friend for many years. She is caring, generous and strong! I don’t know how she manages to work full time, raise her child, and keep her wits but she’s certainly someone to look up to and be applauded. You are a great mother Liz!

    Max has grown to be a fine little man with great manners. Although I don’t get to see these two as much as I’d like, as you can see from these photos, they are doing absolutely great and glowing! I love this little family!

  • High School Senior Portraits [Tampa Bay Photographer}

    Its that time of the year! Kids are back in school, ready to take on the new year.

    High School Seniors in particular are thrilled to feel on top of the world, about to make some big decisions for their future. College, a career, the options are endless. Regardless of whats ahead of you, you’ll want to have photos of this moment in time.

    I remember my Senior Portraits, they were terrible! I don’t know why I didn’t think to get special photos taken by a professional, doing the things I loved to do at that time. Its been 12 years since I graduated school myself,(okay, okay maybe it HAS been longer than 12 years but I’m not giving away my age) but I really wish I had stripped the idea of the black velvet wrap and pearls and had gone out to get unique photos that portrayed my personality. What was I thinking?! (I still don’t like to look at my photos)

    So lets do something different for you! Lets venture out and see where your personality and my camera take us. There are so many options and together we can decide our best options. You get to decide how long we shoot, where we go and the outfits you’d like to wear. Not only will you get real life backdrops, but you’ll get to choose from some great products, like canvases and gallery wraps, etc not just a 5×7 portrait and 8 wallets of one image. You get to choose!

    We are booking for the 2013 School Year now. Hurry, because there are limited number of spots available each month and we are booking up for September to November. Most schools deadlines for Senior Portraits are in December, so get yours now so you can have these awesome photos in your Yearbook and plenty of time to order prints and pass them out to your friends and family!

    $150 – up to 2 hours on location (distance varies)

    • Enhancements and Retouching
    • Facebook Timeline Cover Page Photo (up to three photos featured, specially designed for you)

  • Studio Sessions Can be Creative!

     

    Here at Ashley Yvonne Photography, we offer studio sessions. These aren’t Sears or Walmart sessions, where you get 25 minutes next to a boring backdrop from the 70’s, no time to calm an upset child or baby and offer 1- 8×10, 2- 5×7 and 8 wallets of one chosen pose for $75. If you’d like to capture you child in a beautiful moment with thoughtfully planned scenes, then the scenario described above doesn’t work for you.

    We have done all the work and purchased beautiful backdrops with a variety of patterns and textures. We can set up a scene with baskets and props and blankets. We can even use some personal items of your own which are always the best because they bring special meaning to your photos. If you child needs a moment to recompose, they have time to do so. We’ve chosen only the best labs to print your photos and create beautiful gallery wraps and canvases. You aren’t confined to one pose for every print. You can print any pose and size, no problem. We have you a special online gallery to view your photos and make your choices. Your family may even receive the password to order their own photos.

    I’ve really grown to love my studio sessions just as much as I love my outdoor sessions. Newborns and little boys and girls seem to flourish the most in this type of setting. Think of the Little Cowboy scenes and the Princess scenes we can create.

    Special care and attention are given to every individual that gives us the time to capture the defining moments of their families life. Photos are meant to last forever and document every stage of ones life. It’s worth more than a tv, sofa or car. Only leave it up to someone who cares about you and your special moments.

  • 3 Months Successful {Tampa Bay Photographer}

    So you probably wonder what I’ve been doing these last 3 months that I’m saying is a success. Well going back to my blogs.. you can guess, I got married! May 19th, 2012 I married the love of my life and my best friend Christopher. We met as little kids where we grew up in Richmond, Virginia. I had no idea that 20 years later we would marry but if I do say so myself, its a pretty cute story.

    We met when we were little, he came over to hang out with my brother, we didn’t know each other personally but 19 years later we see each other at a mutual friends wedding and connected. It took us both a little while to get over the fact that we were right under each others noses the whole time. We went though heart aches and headaches to come back to each other. So we connect, but bad timing! Chris was flying out to live in New Zealand one week later for one year! I was in my BIG time traveling phase and talked about going out to visit. I’d been over there once, mostly to see Australia and had only seen NZ for 3 days. Many people didn’t think I’d go out there but since I promised myself I’d go back to NZ one day, I made it happen. Plus side..I see Chris! We spent two months together roaming around and touring nearby cities of Queenstown, where we stayed. At the time I arrived, Chris had been there four months. Enough time for us to not know where we were headed but by six months, Chris was ready to go home. We left at the same time still unsure of where we stood but knowing we had a fantastic time. One month later, him living in Virginia and I in Florida, we were official and began dating. Fast forward a year or so and here we are married 3 months.

    While many people wouldn’t consider 3 months as being a “successful marriage.” It is to me. We take it day by day. If the first year is the hardest of marriage then I say only 7 more months of the hardest year. We are successful so far! We are happily married and having the time of our lives!

    Anna’s mother and I met in Tampa to take the photos of her beautiful child on a Sunday morning. As a former world traveller, Carrie told me about how she would have taken back all those years of traveling to have a child sooner. You can tell the love that flows between the two of them. Carrie is so proud to be a momma and so proud to have Anna as her little girl. She’s so excited about these photos saying “any and every photo is acceptable, I love Anna”.
