I’ve seen these two grow from infancy and I still can’t believe how big they’ve gotten! My love for this session grows every time I laid eyes on a new picture. We met up at the Upper Tampa Bay Park in Tampa. With my tee pee in tow and a bunch of pillows and nic nacks, I set up for a couple hours of fun.
Scarlett & Colton were great in front of the camera! I had a great time with them and absolutely fell in love with the session. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

1 Year Old Cake Smash Session with Miss Leila by Ashley Yvonne Photography
I met Miss Leila at my studio for her 1 Year Cake Smash. Her and her mom recently moved back to Florida from Hawaii. I’m so happy to have Miss Leila and her grandparents into my Tampa Bay Studio for her 1 year Cash Smash photo session. I had a great time getting to know this little one. Miss Leila loved the camera but didn’t love the part of getting messy with the cake. It could possibly be because the cake was so beautiful, thanks to Cuppy Cakes by Crystal Brewster! I loved all the hugs and cuddles from this little one, so happy she came in!!

Most of the time, we are our worst critic. In a world filled with constant thoughts of how we should look, how we need to look, and who we should look like, we always look in the mirror and pick out our worst features. This brilliant video shows how several women described their facial features to a forensic artist, then a person unknown to the women described them individually. Last week I met up with other local Photographers to get some fresh, new pictures of our own. I’m new to the networking thing but I’ve had a great time getting to know these ladies. Being able to share your love of photography with another that shares the same exact love, can be invigorating, exciting, challenging, fun and imperative. We find that we feed off of each others creativity. Photography is our first love and sometimes we can get bogged down and discouraged but when we talk and meet together to refresh ourselves, we come out improved, feeling good.
I needed this night out with these fellow photographers about as much as I needed a picture of myself. I think my wedding photo has been up on my blog and website for a long time. Its about time you see me in street clothes. This is me, casual and dressy, vibrant and chill. Thanks for stopping by!

Miss Brooke came into my studio in July (Yes, I’m very behind on blogging!) She was a HOOT!! Oh my goodness, so much cuteness and smiles rolled up in one little girl should not be allowed! We laughed the entire session. She was very aware of the camera and was always smiling her cute little smile every time I tried to take a picture. Obviously its great to have a smile but I wanted that natural, silly smile and I definitely got it out of her.
